Home demolitions in Rafah

The Israeli army has destroyed over 350 homes and damaged 500 in the Rafah neighborhoods. This is being done to make way for a gigantic steel wall along the Egyptian border, on which Israel began construction in October 2002.

19 January 2003:
I took this photo some days ago - showing the destruction of a house by the IDF, without giving any reason and without even warning the family in advance.

Endless destructions, and family members searching for remains in the rubble

Bulldozer erasing another house in our neighborhood

These people did not do anything wrong. Only their houses somehow were "at the wrong place". UNRWA or the Red Crescent provide them with a tent, some blankets, a camping stove, some pots and spoons. Then, this is all what they have.
